This is a series of shots from when we hauled the Margaritas at the now defunct Deep Water Marina in Apalachicola in the summer of 2000. We first pressure washed, then ground down the hull, taking off a number of years of discoloration and grime and old lettering. We then repainted the whole thing with epoxy, attached a new rub rail and redid the trim and lettering. We also did a bottom job, repaired some of the rudder supports and refinished the wheel (propeller) at the same time. All in all it was a lot of work but I got a lot of help from my crew and our daughter Jaime (the cute one of the bunch) and really couldn't have done it without them.
